Lots of baby boomers are thinking about how to live off of their 401k.  The quest for finding the best dividends has been around for a long time.  What does dividend aristocrat mean?  It is a list of stocks that have continuously increased their dividends for 25 years.  A quick search of the internet using google or any other search engines results in quite a few hits for best yielding S&P Dividend Aristocrat Stocks  All you have to do then is plow through the list and investigate which ones you like.  I prefer to look at each symbol using yahoo finance.  It just seems to be simple.  You can even use yahoo to make a portfolio list and then compare numerous traits side by side such as dividends or earnings.  You could even overlay them on a graph.  All time favorite dividend producer is AT&T (T)  Retired people have been living off the dividends for decades.
